  1. Remove the outer yellow leaves from the sprouts.
  2. Wash well and set to boil at high temperature in salt water for approximately 20 minutes.
  3. Drain well.
  4. Put a layer of sprouts into a heat resistant dish that was well buttered and sprinkled with bread crumbs.
  5. Sprinkle some grated cheese on top.
  6. Pour a little melted butter on top.
  7. Repeat this procedure until all sprouts are used up.
  8. Then pour the beaten eggs mixed with milk and salt.
  9. Bake until golden-brown.
  10. Serve hot.
