Leek Pilaf

Description

In Romanian: Pilaf de praz.

Ingredients

• 4 – 5 leeks
• 2 onions
• 1 cup rice
• 2 cups water
• 3 tablespoons oil
• 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
• salt,
• pepper
• olives(optional)

Directions

1. Lightly fry the onions in oil, then add the washed rice and lightly fry it.
2. Add the cut, washed and blanched leeks, salt, pepper, tomato sauce and water.
3. Set to boil and at the first bubble, cover the pot and bake until done.
