In Romanian: Prepelite fripte vinatoreste
- Place a tablespoon of lard in a dutch oven and let it get hot.
- Place the previously salted quails inside and cover.
- Turn the quails every 2 – 3 minutes.
- After they are golden brown, add 2 tablespoons of water and simmer at very low heat, for 10 – 15 minutes.
- When ready, pour a little melted butter or lard over them.
- Serve hot.
