  1. Make a medium stiff dough, let it rest awhile.
  2. Then roll into a very thin sheet.
  3. Cut it into 1½ inches wide strips.
  4. Each strip should be 4 inches long.
  5. Cut a notch in the middle of each strip and bring one of the ends through that notch (so that the strips look knotted).
  6. Do this for all strips.
  7. Fry in a pan with hot oil or lard or golden brown.
