  1. Wash the tomatoes, dry, core and remove the seeds (keep the tops).
  2. Mix the meat with two finely chopped raw or fried onions, a tablespoon of lard, rice, chopped parsley and dill, pepper and salt.
  3. Mix everything well and use this mixture to fill the tomatoes.
  4. Put the tomato tops back on as a lid on each tomato.
  5. Arrange in a pan and pour the following sauce on top.
  6. Fry the finely chopped onion and flour in lard until golden; add tomato sauce (from boiled and strained tomatoes).
  7. Add sugar and salt.
  8. If the sauce does not cover the tomatoes add some water.
  9. Spread some chopped parsley, set to boil for a little while then place in the oven to bake until done.
  10. Serve with sour cream.
