Ingredients

- 1 beef or 3 – 4 pork tongues (approx. 2 lbs / 1 kg)
- vegetables for soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ tablespoon flour
- ½ cup of the tongue boiling liquid
- ½ onion
- chopped dill
Directions

- Boil the tongue and cut into finger thick slices.
- Melt the butter in a pan and fry a half of a grated onion, add the flour, the tongue boiling liquid, then add the sour cream and tongue slices.
- Simmer for 10 – 15 minutes, add chopped dill and then let simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Serve hot.
